II. Hungarian Higher Education Information Day in Vancouver

The aim of the event is to inform the participants about the study opportunities in Hungary and to provide a platform for personal consultation with the representatives of the 9 Hungarian universities attending the information day as well as the colleagues of Tempus Public Foundation and the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference. We are very pleased to organize this event for the second time – based on the success of the first Information Day in Vancouver held in February 2019.

One of the main focuses of the event is the introduction of the Hungarian Diaspora Higher Education Program, a brand new scholarship opportunity for studies in Hungary, expected to be launched in March 2020.

The event is organized by Tempus Public Foundation (TPF). TPF was established in 1996 by the Hungarian Government, with the task of managing international cooperation programmes and special projects in the field of education, training and EU-related issues. It is now the national coordinating body in charge of the management of most international mobility programs and grants in Hungary – including the Erasmus+ and the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme.
