How Can We Take Part Actively in Creating Europe Together?
2019 | Angol nyelvű kiadványok
The Europe for Citizens Programme has arrived to its mid-term so an interim report was made on behalf of the European Commission about the results of the period between 2014 and 2016. According to one of the most important statements of the analysis, the programme is relevant and reflects to the current questions, problems, and challenges of the European Union through the implemented projects. The number of applications is also very high, the oversubscription is constant.
Hungary is not only one of the most active applicant – since most applications has come from the country for years – but the Hungarian municipalities and non-profit organisations were in the forefront regarding the number of the granted projects in the last years. The infographic, which can be found at the back of this booklet, tries to demonstrate this remarkable result; there can be seen the distribution of Hungarian granted projects according to counties.
In this booklet we present projects dealing with the future of Europe, Euroscepticism, environment protection, and – related to the thematic year of 2018 – European cultural heritage.
We hope that the remarkable Hungarian selection results and project examples give inspiration for many people.
