For 2019, the Debrecen Summer School, Eötvös Loránd University, Eszterházy Károly University, the Kodály Institute of Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, the University of Pécs, the University of Pécs Medical School and the University of Szeged, won the right to organize courses in the application of Tempus Public Foundation.
Foreign participants from nearly thirty countries could learn Hungarian as a foreign language, as well as learn about the culture and history of Hungary during the 2-4 week courses.
The 170 participants who received the Bilateral State Scholarship received full board and free education.
Summer universities also included colourful programs this year, too. Trips, sightseeing, and gastronomic programs made the time spent there even more memorable.
In the summer of 2020, it will again be an opportunity to participate in summer universities, and the application for the summer of 2020 will be published at the beginning of the next year.
