The Association of European Movements (ATLME) is a national, non-profit association based in Barcelos, Portugal that promotes and supports programs that promote international mobility, international meetings on topics of mutual interest, multiculturalism and interculturality. The Association of European Movements (ATLME), aims to be an agglutinating and dynamic space for cultural, social, recreational and recreational programs linked to a global dimension.
The Association of European Movements (ATLME) also aims to increase intercultural dialogue and cooperation among peoples, uphold human rights and equal opportunities, and promote training and awareness-raising on active and participatory citizenship, solidarity, tolerance and social inclusion.
The programs and meetings of the Association of European Movements (ATLME) are aimed not only at young people associated but also at all young and young members of the community, and are carried out at local, national and international level, taking advantage of partnerships and networks with other organizations in the areas in which it operates. Any citizen, regardless of age, sex, profession, race and nationality can become a member of ATLME.
The Association of European Movements (ATLME) is an open door to new projects, for the community to realize their ideas and their dreams. Thus, our structure is based on the joint work of human resources to work in areas such as Education for Development, organizing training actions, seminars, meetings and workshops, in European mobility programs such as the Erasmus, Youth in Action and Learning and leisure activities in the areas of sport, adventure and culture.
Through intercultural mobility, the Association of European Movements (ATLME) aims to contribute to the formation of young people and less young people who are more critical, more reflective, innovative and creative, with an entrepreneurial spirit that develop practices of active and participative citizenship.
